There are certainly some companies that have the modern approach to marketing figured out and are executing and measuring their promotional activities really well. For the majority of manufacturers, however, they’re just not taking advantage of what’s possible with digital marketing. And marketing is not just about selling equipment. It’s about building your company’s brand, attracting new employees, connecting better with your sales partners—and, yes, selling your stuff too.

It’s amazing to walk through a manufacturing facility today. The technology and processes all blend to make products that are better than ever for customers’ specific needs and wants. That same attitude hasn’t extended so far with marketing. Too many companies are still relying on old techniques because it’s too hard to change or because the available options are overwhelming.
